The Social Media & Content Creation Specialist will be responsible for managing all aspects of our social media presence, creating engaging content across platforms, and handling video and image creation. You will also contribute to marketing campaigns with photography, video editing, and digital content. Experience in website development, SEO, and PPC campaigns will be beneficial, as you’ll work closely with our marketing team to deliver comprehensive digital strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Social Media Management: Manage and grow O’Malley Property’s presence across social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, etc.), including content planning, posting, and audience engagement.
  • Content Creation: Develop high-quality, engaging content, including images, graphics, and videos that align with our brand and resonate with our target audience.
  • Video Editing: Create and edit promotional videos and property tours for use across social media and the website.
  • Image Creation: Design visuals, banners, and promotional content using tools like Canva, Photoshop, or similar.

Butcher & Delicatessen Shop Assistant – JW Aitken

£7.00-£11.85 an hour

Counter Assistant required to work on our delicatessen counter at 24/26 High Street, Alloa for approx 25 to 35 hours per week. The hour’s will be over a normal working week, Monday to Saturday.

Applicants should have a friendly personality, be flexible with regard to hours as they may be required to work extra hours to cover holidays.

Experience is desired.

Must be willing to work alongside our fantastic team to support the counter, retail orders.

Prepare and serve customers with a range of hot and cold bakery and food to go products.

Set up and maintain counter and window displays in line with our guidelines.

We are looking for applicants to join our current group of highly trained, friendly skilled support workers.

We are looking for applicants who are motivated, eager to learn, able to drive, have a caring attitude, and would like the chance to work in a rewarding and satisfying environment where you could make a genuine difference to peoples lives.

We provide personal care and social support for children and adults in Clackmannanshire.

SVQ2’s are desirable but not essential as full training will be provided to include online distance learning modules. In most cases we can offer funded SVQ2 qualifications in Health & Social Care.

Successful applicants will undergo a 3 day Induction session and will then work along side experienced support workers (known as “shadowing”) until they are confident to carry out care tasks on their own. The period of “shadowing” will depend on the applicants previous experience in care.

Shop Volunteer – British Red Cross

If you have a few hours a week that you can spare on a regular basis and want to help around the shop, then this could be the opportunity for you!
**General Assistant volunteer typical activities** – Checking the quality of items donated and preparing them for sale or for recycling. – Ironing, cleaning, labelling, and pricing the items ready for sale. – Keeping the shop well organised and tidy. – Displaying items for sale. – General activities around the shop. No experience is needed. Full training will be provided. There is no expectation to use a till or computer in this volunteering role.

Alloa In Bloom – Volunteer

Alloa in Bloom provide floral arrangements and pocket gardens in Alloa town centre for the pleasure of local people, visitors and shoppers. The group offers friendship, a blether and lots of fun for local people.
