Tour De Clacks

The Tour de Clacks is an annual event organised by Alloa’s Rotary Club, aimed at raising money for Prostate Scotland which provides information, advice and help on prostate health and diseases test and treatments.

They have chosen a 22km (13 mile) circular cycle route starting at the pedestrian bridge to the West of Alloa Railway Station and following along designated paths of the National Cycle Network of signed paths and routes for walking, cycling, wheeling and exploring outdoors.

The event starts at 10am on Sunday 17th September. The chosen route is very safe and mostly off-road, but there are a couple of roads to cross. These will be manned by marshals who will also be visibly present at the start and at other strategic points along the route. Most riders would be expected to be able to complete the route in under 2 hours with an event scheduled finishing time of 1pm.
