Speirs Centre Commonwealth war graves talk

History buffs can look forward to a talk from representatives of the Commonwealth War Graves Commission (CWGC) at the Speirs Centre on Monday, 11th of September, 10.30-12pm

The authority will be visiting the library mezzanine area to highlight their amazing archive collection, which contains over 10,000 items from 1917 to the modern date including correspondence, reports, press cuttings and photographs.

Keen historians will be able to browse through this extensive archive and maybe learn a thing or two about the past.

Refreshments such as tea and biscuits will be provided throughout the talk.
