One Weekend in Alloa – ‘What’s Left Behind’ with Angela T. Edgar

Fresh from the recent launch of her debut novel, ‘What’s Left Behind’, OWIA is delighted to welcome writer, Angela T. Edgar.

Angela’s book delves into the lives of a family immediately after a brutal crime against their elderly mother. The daughter, Grace, is thrown into a state of shock and quickly struggles to deal with the enormity of it, especially as her mother deteriorates through a mixture of trauma and dementia.

With the wheels of justice turning slowly, and the perpetrator at large, it isn’t long before Grace’s own behaviour and choices start looking obsessive and very dubious. But she’s not the only one following the perpetrator’s every move. Someone within the community knows him, is convinced of his guilt, and wants justice.

‘What’s Left Behind’ is a complex and highly emotional debut that’s proving to be a real page turner, judging by its Amazon reviews.

Angela will be reading from her book and answering questions, shining a light on the legacy of violent crime.
