A retired lecturer and history enthusiast is set to give a short series of informal talks focusing on several key periods in British History in the Speirs Centre over the coming months.
Robert Wingate will give three illustrated presentations, one each in September, October and November. He will tackle topics like Romans in Britain and the Southern Tribes on Monday, September 23rd, Romans in Caledonia and the Final Frontier as well as the End of the Stuarts later.
