Discover Clacks Vision Workshop & AGM

FreeThe next meeting of the Discover Clacks group of local businesses, tourism hotspots, Hotels, B&B’s, Visit Scotland representatives and other supporters takes place during Clacks Business Week on Monday 2 March, 3.00pm at Inglewood House and Spa.
It’s a jam-packed event with speakers covering the latest tourism developments in Alloa, Scotland and China!
Chairman Steven Campbell will give an overview of Discover Clacks’ activities over the past year and its vision for the future. Visit Scotland will discuss their “Only in Scotland” campaign and how local businesses can get involved in 2020 – The Year of Coast and Waters, a key campaign with the River Forth right on our doorstep.
Chen Li of Tillicoultry based Magna World will offer her views on the Chinese market, tips on enticing Chinese visors to Scotland and how to make the most of their visit. Closer to home, Anthea Coulter from CTSi will update everyone on the Active Travel Hub, Alloa Town Centre improvements and possible rural infrastructure project funding .
The meeting is open to and ideal for everyone in Clackmannanshire with an interest in attracting tourism to the area. The Discover Clacks AGM will follow afterwards.
