Clackmannanshire Reading Challenge

Adults in the Wee County are being encouraged to take on a reading challenge this summer.

Starting this week (6th July) Clacks Council have launched a reading challenge to encourage people to pick up any six books in as many weeks. The initiative will run until August 14th with the theme of Around the World.

People can read books as well as electronic versions or listen to audio books as part of the challenge. Graphic novels, short stories, poems, newspaper articles or blog posts can be included.

Those taking part are asked to keep a record of what they read and enter a prize draw for a chance to win some book vouchers. Residents in Clackmannanshire can register by emailing libraries@clacks.gov.uk with their full name and library membership number.

The closing date for entries into the prize draw will be August 28th.
