Alloa in Bloom is a constituted voluntary group that welcomes people from Alloa and other parts of Clackmannanshire to take an active role in keeping Alloa Town Centre floral and beautiful.

The group is fully supported by Alloa First, but also contributes to volunteers costs, like insurance, uniform and refreshments. The group helps plan and plant up the barrels and tiered planters around the town centre, tidy and weed areas and plan new pocket gardens. In 2021, the group entered the Keep Scotland Beautiful Britain in Bloom competition, winning gold and a David Welch Memorial Award for their partnership with Gartinny Nursery.

Volunteers are welcome and meet up once or twice a week. Please get in touch with Anthea Coulter or Diane Brown via email at alloainbloom@alloafirst.co.uk.
