Following last year’s popular butterfly trail and themed activities, Alloa Hub are focusing on an under the sea theme for this year’s 2026 summer program. Children will be able to take part in a number of fun arts and crafts activities and even some drama classes, from making handprint crabs to a fish collage.

🦀 ^{Fri 3rd July – Make handprint crabs, 10.30am-12pm. Draw around your hands on card, cutting the handprints out, gluing them together and adding eyes to create your own crab.}

🌊 ^{Fri 3rd July – Make jellyfish 1pm-2.30pm. Using a paper plate, tissue paper and wool you will be able to create your own floating jellyfish.}

🐠 ^{Tue 7th July – Make your own fish sock puppet 10.30am-12pm & 1pm-2.30pm. Get creative with various arts and crafts, gluing them onto a sock to make your own sock puppet fish.}

🌊 ^{Fri 10th July – Create a collage seahorse 10.30am -12pm. Using a seahorse template and lots of bits of different off cuts of material, create your own brightly coloured rainbow collage seahorse.}

🐟 ^{Tue 14th July – Paint wooden fish windmill 10.30am-12pm & 1pm-2.30pm. Paint wooden pieces and then build them together to create a tropical fish windmill that you can then put in your garden or a plant pot at home.}

🌊 ^{Fri 17th July – Paint your own fish tank 10.30am-12pm. Painting your hands you can create fish swimming in a fish tank on card. You could even paint some plants and bubbles in your fish tank or anything you think your fish might like.}

🌊 ^{Fri 17th July – Make your own jellyfish 1pm –2.30pm. Using a paper plate, tissue paper and wool you will be able to create your own floating jellyfish.}

🐟 ^{Tue 28th July – Make salt dough fish game 10.30am-12pm. You will make salt dough from scratch, roll and cut out fish. These will then be left to dry to be painted at a later date and then will be used in a fish themed games at the upcoming garden party.}

🎈^{Tue 28th July – Mini baking for garden party 1pm-2.30pm. Join in the fun by helping to make some yummy treats such as top hats and crispy cakes for the picnic at our upcoming garden party.}

^{🐟 Fri 31st  July – Paint salt dough fish game 10.30am-12pm. The salt dough fish that were created the other day will now be dry, come along and help paint the fish in lots of bright colours so that they are ready to be used in the fish themed games that we have planned for our upcoming garden party.}
