A well-known local family business is celebrating a major milestone this year as Watson Property Services marks 25 years of serving the Clackmannanshire community. 

Founded by Richard Watson in April 2001, the business has grown steadily over the years while remaining proudly independent and family-run. Based in Primrose Street in Alloa town centre, Watson Property Services has built a strong reputation for offering a personal, honest and reliable service across the local property market. 

What began with an interest in property following Richard’s first purchase soon developed into a full property services business offering lettings, sales, maintenance and compliance support. Today, the company’s main focus is on residential lettings, helping landlords manage properties while also supporting refurbishment and renovation projects to bring homes back onto the rental market. 

The business remains very much a family affair. Richard works alongside wife Janice and daughter Gemma, with each playing an important role in the day-to-day running of the company. Gemma oversees the highly regulated lettings department, Janice supports the administration side of the business, while Richard handles maintenance and compliance. All three are proudly “born and bred” in Tullibody and passionate about serving the local area. 

Over the past 25 years, Watson Property Services has continued to grow through word of mouth, local knowledge and a strong commitment to customer care. The team believes their family values, honesty and one-to-one approach are what set them apart. 

Another impressive achievement is that Watson Property Services is now believed to be the longest-serving family-operated property services company in Clackmannanshire, a fantastic milestone for a business that continues to go from strength to strength.
