Clacks Citizens Advice – Volunteer training programme

A volunteer training programme is set to start at an impartial advice service in the Wee County on Monday, January 17th.

The training programme is an opportunity aimed at those who can commit six to eight hours a week to support the CAB’s work in providing free and impartial advice to residents.

CTSI – Social media volunteers

Clackmannanshire Third Sector Interface is looking for social media volunteers in what is described as a “fun and dynamic role, which will focus on promoting volunteering locally”.

Duties include writing and sharing fun and engaging content, primarily on Facebook and Instagram and helping CTSI build a presence on channels such as TikTok.

The role is ideal for young people interested in social media, marketing and content creation.

Alloa Half Marathon – Volunteer

Volunteers are wanted to support this year’s Alloa Half Marathon. This year’s event takes place on Sunday, March 20th and all proceeds from the race go to local charities and good causes.

Anyone interested in volunteering is asked to send the Alloa Half Marathon a private message on Facebook.

Alloa In Bloom – Volunteer

Alloa in Bloom is a newly constituted volunteer group, supported by Alloa First (BID) and working with other local charities to provide floral arrangements and pocket gardens in Alloa town centre for the pleasure of local people, visitors and shoppers. The group is planning to fundraise as well as offer friendship, a blether and lots of fun for local people.
